Monument signs are freestanding signs for a single business, typically 6' tall or under. Monument signs can be built from aluminum, wood, or a wide variety of other materials, and are typically illuminated with fluorescent bulbs or LEDs.

Monument signs without lighting, typically used in zoning districts that prohibit illumination of any kind. In some cases, these can be illuminated using flood lights installed in the ground. These are most common for apartment complexes in Reno and Sparks.

Illuminated Monument Signs
Great for the fantastic visibility at night, an illuminated monument sign is ideal for any business that wishes to maximize their advertising through all hours of the day. Standard illuminated monument signs are built with an aluminum frame, with CNC routed lettering and recessed acrylic letters. These letters can have a vinyl overlay of any color, or can be digitally printed to allow for gradients or complicated logos. The main sign cabinet is illuminated with high intensity 6500k sign LEDs, which have a lifespan of 50,000+ hours. The cabinet can be finished with stucco, smooth paint, or even a custom faux finish to replicate the look of stone and various textures. The cabinet is then placed on a footing which can match the cabinet, or compliment it with different materials such as natural stone. Each monument sign is custom built to t each client’s needs and virtually every component can be upgraded or modified to suit your business.
Non-Illuminated Monument Signs
For clients that do not need to advertise at night, a non-illuminated monument sign is a fantastic way to drive business from the main street and to your front door. With a wide variety of materials available, we can build a custom monument sign to match the aesthetic of any business. Natural materials such as wood and stone can create a rustic and authentic aesthetic that can not be replicated with other types of signs. Natural and manmade materials can also be combined to create a truly unique sign that will set your business apart from the competition and lend credibility to your brand.
Pylon Signs
Large, usually illuminated pylon signs are built with a steel & aluminum frame. These large monument signs house many smaller signs which can be easily changed out individually. Each sign is made from 3/16” white Lexan with vinyl or printed graphics and can be customized to suit each tenant. We can manufacture, install, and permit a brand new monument sign for any new developer or shopping center, as well as provide new Lexan faces for new tenants.
Directory Signs
Directory signs are as the name implies, they direct customers to different locations, and can utilize arrows, addresses, and maps. These are constructed much like the Illuminated / non-illuminated monument signs and have a great deal of flexibility for design. Typically used in malls, golf courses, casinos, and other large buildings, these signs are essential for any business that has a large campus and needs clear, concise signage.
Pole Signs
These monument signs are much taller than your typical monument, and typically vary between 10’ and 30’. These are built with one large steel pole and have a single sided or double sided cabinet mounted to the top. The faces are built with 3/16” Lexan with vinyl or printed graphics. Our pole signs are illuminated using LEDs, but other companies may use fluorescent bulbs and ballasts.
