When a large electric sign with easily replaceable faces is needed, sign cabinets are a cost effective and impressive solution.
Each electric sign cabinet is constructed with an extruded aluminum frame, welded, and painted in the color of your choice.
The sign face is cut from 3/16" polycarbonate, which is flexible, extremely impact resistant, and UV resistant. 3M vinyl graphics are used to display logos and text, but for complicated logos and gradients, digitally printed vinyl is also available.
Design:
Our team of designer will consult with you on the goals of your sign (brand awareness, driving foot traffic, etc.) and help you design an effective and beautiful sign fully tailored to meet your needs.
Installation:
Our team of installers has been working in Reno & Sparks for over 20 years. We follow all guidelines set in place by the contractors board, so you know your sign will be installed safely and properly. Our team is experienced working with landlords and following their guidelines for sign installation.

Cons:
-Rapidly Scaling Costs
When a cabinet becomes too large, it often becomes more expensive than a comparable set of channel letters. Our team can explain cost differences and help you make an informed decision.
-Difficulty Permitting
Local municipalities are generally more restrictive with cabinet signs. Typically, you can get a much larger sign if it is composed of individual letters than a single cabinet.
-Landlord Requirements
Depending on your landlords sign requirements, cabinet signs may be strictly prohibited. We can review your sign requirements and ensure your new sign is compliant.
Production
All of our cabinets are constructed with premium weather proof and impact resistant materials to ensure your sign looks beautiful and new throughout it’s life.
• The Body of the Cabinet
(AKA "return") is constructed from extruded aluminum, which is then welded and painted in the color of your choice.
• Cabinet Faces
Faces are cut from 3/16" white polycarbonate (lexan) which is flexible, extremely impact resistant, and UV resistant.
Acrylic is NOT used for cabinet signs, as large pieces of acrylic are prone to shattering when UV damage occurs. Using acrylic in a cabinet sign is a safety hazard.
• Premium 3M Vinyl
3M translucent vinyl is used to give the face colors and character. With a lifespan of 7+ years you can rest easy knowing your sign’s vinyl will stay in place and look new for years to come.
• GE Sign LEDs
LEDs are used to illuminate the cabinet. These extremely bright LEDs are incredibly reliable, and have a typical lifespan of 50,000+ hours.
*Fluorescent Light Bulbs
Light bulbs can also be used to illuminate the sign. These are more affordable than LEDs, but less reliable and bright.
